and practice into Bali's famous arts and crafts, and it also
creates deep and lasting friendships. Based in Ubud, the "Cultural
Center" of Bali, this three-week sojourn includes a three-day
island tour and over-night stays at beaches, as well as high
quality commercial and religious performances of traditional
dance. Participants may choose from classes in gamelan music,
dance, painting, batik, or mask carving, all taught by Balinese
artists working in their family compounds. Oriented to artists,
teachers, and those who appreciate art and culture, this is
